The Chill Roll Cleaner is mounted on the chill roll. Additional chill rolls can be cleaned where space allows.
Condensate removal is accomplished simply and effectively by engaging a nonabrasive fabric almost continuously with the surface of the chill roll.
The cleaning cloth is advanced periodically at a controlled rate and frequency.
This operating sequence brings clean, absorbent fabric into contact with the chill roll and simultaneously carries away condensate and debris that can scratch the roll.
